How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule an appointment by submitting the contact form on the website, calling or texting @ 919-999-3458 or emailing @ healingcanvastherapy@gmail.com.(mailto:healingcanvastherapy@gmail.com) Once I receive your request, I'll reach out to you about your current needs.  If we decide that I'm a good fit to help you with your current needs, we would schedule the intake session.

What happens after I schedule the intake appointment?

After we schedule the intake appointment, I will email you a link to the client portal.  This link will allow you to create a client account and then fill out the necessary intake forms.  These forms need to be filled out 24 hours prior to the intake appointment.

What is the intake session?

The intake session lasts about 60 minutes.  The intake session is typically a parent only session when we are focused on helping children ages 10 and under.  For adolescents (ages 11 and up), I invite them to join in the process if they are interested.  The intake session allows me to gather background information and history to help during the therapeutic process.  We will also schedule the first individual therapy session at the intake session.

Do you offer telehealth counseling?

Yes, I offer telehealth counseling at this time for adolescents, young adults and adults.  I do not provide telehealth counseling with young children.
